The Kappa Alpha Rose, selected annually by the brothers of the chapter and awarded at Old South, is a woman of great importance to the chapter of which she is granted the distinction of. Chosen based on her support and care for the chapter, she is significant in the hearts of each brother for her physical and moral incorruptibility. Additionally it is her unconditional love for the chapter and hallmark personal characteristics that deserve such a distinction.

Susie Andrejcak is a senior at George Mason University pursing a degree in Marketing. She is a proud sister of the Eta Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi and had previously served as the Panhellenic Delegate and Director of Programming for her chapter. During the Spring and Fall 2015 semesters, Susie served as George Mason University’s Panhellenic Council President, devoting much of her time to the Greek Community as a whole. In her spare time, she volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, having participated in the Greek Alternative Spring Break Program with Habitat for Humanity, 2 of her 4 Spring Breaks. When she is not with her sisters participating in various events, or volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, you can find Susie with the brothers of Kappa Alpha Order, including her boyfriend, Bryan McArdle, current President of the Epsilon Phi chapter. Susie’s favorite thing about the brothers of KA is the endless support and laughs they bring her on a daily basis. Post-graduation, Susie hopes to pursue a career within the Research Marketing field and continue to be actively involved in her local Panhellenic Alumnae chapter, Alpha Phi and Kappa Alpha Order at George Mason University.

Celine Ho is a rising senior at George Mason University studying Global and Community Health. She is a devoted sister of Alpha Omicron Pi's Gamma Alpha chapter and has served previously as the sorority's treasurer and Vice President. In her free time, Celine enjoys volunteering for Alpha Omicron Pi's philanthropy, the National Arthritis Foundation, coordinating events between her sorority and the brotherhood of the Kappa Alpha Order at George Mason, as well as traveling and spending time with her boyfriend Andy Leser, a former President of the Epsilon Phi chapter. She eventually hopes to pursue optometry post-graduation and remain involved with both the KA and AOII chapters at George Mason. 

Courtney Hoffman is a rising senior majoring in Public Relations & minoring in Kinesiology. She serves as Vice President of her sorority, Chi Omega. Courtney is an active member in Chi Omega and loves participating in various philanthropic events to benefit Chi Omega's philanthropy Make-A-Wish foundation. You may have seen her in the early hours of the morning at the metro asking for donations. Her favorite memories with KA brothers include repelling at Great Falls with alumni Bryan Kemp and her first echo stage experience. 

Madeline Johnson  is a senior at the University of Delaware, majoring in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Speech Pathology. At Delaware, she is a member of the Phi Sigma Sigma sorority and loves helping out with the sorority's various events throughout the year. When she is not working hard at school, she travels down to northern Virginia to hangout with the brothers of KA, including her boyfriend Bradley. She loves spending all of her weekends down at George Mason, constantly making great memories with all the Kappa Alpha brothers. After graduation, Maddie hopes to attend grad school in Virginia to get her masters in Speech/Language Pathology. Her favorite things about the brothers of KA include the endless fun times they provide and the amazing friendships and bonds she has developed.

Claire Karakozoff is a junior at George Mason University double majoring in Accounting and Marketing. She transferred from Wake Forest University in the fall of 2015 and is a proud alumna of the Gamma Kappa chapter of Delta Delta Delta (Go Deacs, Go Delts!). Claire is a middle hitter on the Women’s Club Volleyball team and travels with them once a month to various universities for tournaments. She loves to bake and frequently uses the KA brothers as guinea pigs for her baking/cooking experiments. You will most likely find her either holed away in the library feverishly studying or running around Fairfax making memories, and sometimes food, with the brothers of the Kappa Alpha Order. Claire’s favorite things about the brothers of KA include the raucous and wonderful army of brothers she has now inherited and the special, unique relationships she has formed with each brother in the chapter.
